It's Been Awhile Crocodile.

There is exactly one word that first comes to mind that describes the last months since I've blogged.
Crazy.
So lets do some catchup.

The fam found a new casa. In our old hood actually. If you would have asked me three months ago or even two years ago if we thought we would end up in the exact same place that we were two years ago I would say heck no. The Lord works in mysterious ways. But it feels great to be with old friends and we truly feel blessed.

I quit my daycare job that I had for years. Literally years. I worked at that place for four years. And let me tell you leaving was hard. I was a hot mess that day....maybe minus the hot. I was just a tearful, mixed emotions, sad, unsure, mess. But I know it's what I needed to do.

I survived summer school. Actually I survived summer school and PASSED! 8 grueling weeks of math three nights a week, class from 6:00-8:30, eating dinner in the car before class, tutoring three, sometimes four times a week and endless homework. But I did it! And let me tell you, it feels fanfreakintastic.

My brother decided to go on a mish. If you could see me right now I'm smiling ear to ear. A big part of me honestly did not think he was going to go. Which is fine, missions aren't for everyone. But then there was this little part of me that knew he would pull through and make the right decision. I am so dang proud of this kid.

I started staying up at night past the hours of 9:00. Like we're talking staying up till 11:00...11:00 people. I know, I'm a party animal. Sometimes I have to hold my eyelids open with toothpicks just to stay up that late, but somehow I do it. There is life past 9:00. Anyone that knows me well though, knows that this is a big deal for me.

Lately...

This video has been creeping me out. People have far too much time of their hands.

But this video has been making me laugh.

This song has been on my nerves. Heaven help you if you ever watch the actual video of this. His abnormally large sized mouth and curly locks while standing naked singing makes me cringe.

But suddenly it's not so terrible when this little guy sings it.  Ps. That's exactly how I sing when I'm in the shower and in the car. Who would have thought huh?

The fam has been house hunting. Our two year lease is up and it's time to find a new place to call home.

I have been absolutely dreading going to both of my jobs. I'm on this new thing where I would much rather stay in bed all day and catch up on some netflix watchin' and blog stalkin'

I have been on the hunt for a new purse. So far no luck. Suggestions are welcomed!

I've been thinking about changing my major. But I can't think about it too much or else I give myself an anxiety attack. As it is I'm already going to graduate when I'm 40 {little dramatic} so if I change my major now I'm doomed.

But, there's good news.
Parker and M'liss finally tied the knot over the weekend.
Promise I'm going to write Nicholas Sparks and make him write a book about their love story.

Went and saw this movie and absolutely loved it.
It was so freakin funny.

And came across this picture and laughed. For hours.

Monkeying Around.

The zoo is something that I look forward to very year.
But the zoo with my favorite little ones in the whole wide world is even better.

The Pit and the Peak.

{the pit} no weekend goodness here. i'm positive i had the weekend from hell. friday i had a rough day at work so i did nothing but veg in my jams and watch reruns of keeping up with the kardashians. saturday morning i woke up at the butt crack of dawn with the worst stomachache ever. and a few hours later the bottom of the toilet seat bowl was all i was staring at. saltine crackers and 7up were my best friend that day. sunday auntie flow decided to visit me along with the worst cramps in the entire world. did i mention the pounding headache i had over the past two days? it's safe to say i need another weekend to recover from my weekend.

{the peak} meet my vacation jar. for what vacation you may ask? i have no idea. just a little something i started so when a vacation does come up, boom baby i have a majority of it paid for. plus just the thought of a non existent future vacation makes me giddy.

{a person my dad baptized from the mish came to visit us from australia for the weekend. we took her on a little stroll around the lake. i think we almost killed her. seriously though. who knew a walk around the lake could cause so many back problems}

 

{petting farm at thanksgiving point with the cousins. the horses were allies favorite and she made she sure she let everyone know it walking around saying "aaaaahaarrrrrseeee! aaaaaharrrrrssssseeee! (horsy) oh and the cows. i've changed dirty diapers that smell better than those things}
