{Day 13}

I am thankful for the simple things today.
Indoor plumbing.
Electricity.
Food on the table.
A car.
Clean clothes.
Shoes to wear.
A few years ago when we went on a cruise to Ensenada, Mexico they gave us a day to explore the streets.
It was definitely something I will never forget.
People with bags full of junk lay on the ground.
Small children with dirty faces and ragged clothes begged for money.
And at the end of the day my fam and I would walk back onto the cruise ship in our clean clothes, stuff our faces at the endless buffet, crawl back into our warm beds and continue to live our cushiony lives.
I don't think many of us realize how truly blessed we are to have the simple things.
