The Pit and the Peak of Sunday.

{the pit} Apparently church was at 10:00 today instead of the usual 1:00. It was stake conference today and I missed it. Not gonna lie I was bummed. I love seeing people in the stake that I grew up with. Now that I've moved away I don't get to see them as much, if not at all. Plus I love love the talks that are given in stake conference. Extra inspired, extra important. Note to self: listen in church when they give the announcements.

{the peak} It's such a pretty day! Spring is around the corner and I love it. I haven't been in this good of a mood for months. Thank you mister groundhog for seeing your shadow and bringing us Spring.

She honestly stopped mid-scentance to ask me what gay meant.

It was so funny!

I think I could write a book with all the funny things I've heard kids say over the years.

Apparently I have a boyfriend now.

Two boyfriends actually.

I've known these two since they were two. And now they're both four.

The other day Conner was sitting on my lap and he planted a kiss right smack dab in the middle of my cheek out of nowhere.

It caught me so off guard.

Promise I felt like a million bucks.

Kids have a funny way of making you feel like that.

I'm constantly being told that they love me a million times a day.

I get told that I'm pretty.

I get the best hugs ever.

They forgive me five seconds after they get into trouble.

They're constantly making me laugh and putting a smile on my face.

All these things happen at the most random times too.

But at the times that I need it most.

I'm blessed to have such a great job.

The Pit and the Peak of a Wednesday.

{the peak} Glee, Chinese food and Leatherby's with my two favorite people tonight. Yes please!

{the pit} Another math test. Which means another not so good grade.

Up.

Remember my little old astronomy teacher I talked about here.

Well his wife died this weekend. 

Promise I was so sad for him.

"I don't stay long at school cause my wife can't remember things without me."

Just melts my heart. 

I couldn't stop thinking about this part of the movie Up...

I may or may not get teary eyed every time I watch this.

Target.

I seriously think I keep this store in business.

No joke.

Target runs are a weekly occasion.

I go in for just one thing and almost always end up coming out with twenty things.

Every time, without fail.

My future home will be filled with things from Target.

Hope the hubs doesn't mind.

I think I have a small obsession.

I realized that I have a lot of coats.

I still want to add a mustard yellow and maybe a brown to my collection. 

I have so many because of how much I have to walk around campus.

Gotta stay warm!

There is nothing I hate more than being cold. 

 And I can't wear the same coat everyday duh.
So this gives me a good excuse to have a lot.

Haircut.

I got my hair done about a week ago.

I spent five hours in that salon.

The lady that cut my hair did it all wrong.

It looked horrible.

So then another lady had to fix it.

What a life saver!

Because of all the cutting she had to do to fix my first haircut my hair is really thin.

I feel pitch bald.

And like I lost ten pounds.

I don't like it.

I want all my hair back! 

It's probably not really even that thin and I'm just being dramatic.

But it's really thin for me.

I learned my lesson.

1. Never go to someone new to get my hair cut.

and 2. I need to be patient and just wait for the next open appointment with the person I know will do a good job.

Yes, it's true, a song as dirty as this runs through my innocent mind several times a day.
Cause sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me...

{the peak} February is over and March is here! Spring is in March. Thank. The. Heavens. March also means that Spring semester is almost over. I don't think I have ever been so excited for March in my whole entire life.
